16kW Daikin (TM) Heat Pump Installation costing over £18,700

This was begun by SWIFT Mechanical Group in October 2021 and wasn’t completed until January 2022. SWIFT had to return several times to correct faults.

During the installation the SWIFT Mechanical Group engineers caused damage of over £5,300 to new carpets in four rooms, which SWIFT initially refused to pay for.

SWIFT eventually agreed to pay for the damage (after Notice of Court Action) but then refused to return to the site to complete the installation.

Swift mechanical group apparently failed to add antifreeze to the system, which means there is a risk of serious damage to the system and to the house from burst water pipes!

Nor did SWIFT add limescale and corrosion inhibitors to the system, making the system prone to problems in the long term.
